Ellinair Airlines Supports the National Theater of Greece
Ellinair, a Mouzenidis Group company, is launching a new partnership with the National Theater Company of Northern Greece (NTNG). At a press conference held on Wednesday, May 18th, at the Royal Theatre of Thessaloniki, presenting the summer arts program of the NTNG, it was announced that Ellinair will be the air transport provider of the Theater company. In addition, the Mouzenidis Group will assist in distribution of tickets and promote the shows to tourists coming to Greece, and will offer a subtitling service of the works in Russian and English.
Meanwhile, Grekomania, the trilingual web portal of Mouzenidis Group announced that it will offer discount ticket prices of NTNG events through apps and Grekomania card.
Ellinair director Mr. Stavros Daliakas said at the press conference that the company's goal is to raise the profile of cultural activity, especially in these difficult times. "We beginning a cooperative effort here and hope that in the future there will be other opportunities given us," he said, expressing the desire of the Mouzenidis Group to continue to act as a patron in the field of culture. He invited the President and artistic director of NTNG to take advantage of Ellinair's new footprint in Cyprus, where the airline flies five times a week, transferring the dynamism of the NTNG to Cyprus and hopefully bringing corresponding Cypriot troupes to Greece.
Mr. Daliakas also referred to the history and activity of the Mouzenidis Group and Ellinair, the main task of which is meeting the transportation needs of the Group's customers, which exceed 400,000 annually.
The artistic director of the NTNG, Mr. John Anastassakis, expressed his gratitude for the help and support from Ellinair to the NTNG and from the Mouzenides group, generally, and added that the NTNG will be work hand in hand with the Mouzenidis Group, since the aim of the theater is to both be a business and to be of service to the public.
