First Mouzenidis Group Enigma Mall Art Auction Completed
The Mouzenidis Group’s new project, Halkidiki’s Enigma Mall in Nea Moudania, has successfully held its first art auction at the Mall’s multi-purpose hall. The event featured the auction of art works and antiques supervised by the Myro Antiques House as well as thematic and special events. The auction attracted more than 200 art lovers and collectors witnessed or bid on the 140 objects up for auction.
Items auctioned off included marble and bronze sculptures by contemporary Greek artists, work from the 18th-20th centuries, and selected antiques. At the auction the Mouzenidis Group’s CSP Cargo company, which provides specialized air and surface transport services, had its own stand.
The emphasis on Art was a strategic choice in the creation of Enigma Mall, the first and only shopping center in Greece to host permanent works of Greek and foreign renowned sculptures, which visitors can admire and buy. This gives the mall a unique aesthetic which enriches the experience of visitors and shoppers.
"Our ambition for Enigma Mall is to offer an innovative tourist product to the visitors of Halkidiki and the best start was on Saturday through the Art auction. We believe that our collaboration with Myro Group of Culture will serve as a vanguard in the field of art in the future,” said Tassos Bozidis, director of the Mall.
Mr Stavros Myronides, the founder and CEO of Myro Group of Culture said that he was "excited because Myro's cooperation with the Mouzenidis Group is building a unique product in Halkidiki. Enigma Mall's enormous spaces and installations give us countless possibilities and ideas to create a new concept. "
Other art auctions are in the works as the summer progresses. You’ll be informed of these through the Group’s social media platform.
